a month agoGreat little nature area along the babbling Bear Brook. Easy dirt trail goes across wooden bridge and ends in slight climb through a cut log (see pic) with alternate neighborhood access at far end. Slightly wooded with houses on top of the ravine. Well kept and clean - very accessible to families but not sure about wheelchairs.

a year agoBeautiful glen tucked in the midst of suburban sprawl. Ravine is created by Bear Brook cutting through the sandstone. This is quick in and out trek, easy access to the Brook itself. Plentiful parking unless there is a game in progress on adjacent field.

3 years agoAvoid this place during & after any rainfall &/or snow: several steep dropoffs, slippery rocky areas, but otherwise easy peaceful walk/hike, serene water flowing through, interesting geology, & free parking, but zero facilities besides port-a-johns
